 You can have the Lombard experience by following the downtown direction right after (leaving) the Golden Gate Bridge. You will then follow Lombard all along the way till this famous, tortuous section. A pretty nice and easy way to reach downtown by riding Lombard AND the Golden Gate without a map or a GPS! You will then make a right turn after this section, drive less than a mile and you are all set to Union Square!
